SureSign Private-Key Systems

For some organisations, communicating copyright information to third parties has lower priority than utilising fingerprinting technology to monitor the use of their content and to identify cases of copyright abuse.

To satisfy the needs of these customers, Signum Technologies has developed "private-key" solutions whereby the embedded fingerprint is detectable only by special-purpose detector software. Called SureSign X and SureSign Custom, these systems provide an inherently high level of security with each system being totally unique to the user and with detection tools that are not available within the public domain. As such, they are designed to resist determined infringers and can be tailored to meet specific customer needs in terms of message content and robustness. Both systems are offered as add-ons to the SureSign Server batch processor.

SureSign X

SureSign X is a private-key version of SureSign which embeds the standard Creator and Image ID's used in the public version. For added security, SureSign X uses a PIN code operated detection tool, the use and distribution of which are controlled by the client.

SureSign Custom

SureSign Custom is the most sophisticated fingerprinting solution currently available. Built according to individual needs, SureSign Custom is a bespoke high-security fingerprinting system allowing the embedding of specially tailored messages into rasterised image data. This enables users to adapt the embedded message to their specific requirements.
